The Optical Academy Award Winning Mobile Vision Team will arrive at your school with state-of-the-art equipment to provide FREE Vision Screenings, Mobile Eye Exams, and a variety of 500+ Eyeglasses for students to choose from. With our onsite lab option, students’ glasses are made in the same day right onsite!

An In & Out Onsite Process

Step 1
Check In

Students can be brought down by class or grade depending on the predetermined schedule of the day and check in.

Step 2
Vision Screening

Technicians will perform all pretesting procedures including autorefraction, color vision tests, & refractions.

Step 3
Exam

The Optometrist will confirm prescriptions so children can choose their eyewear.​

Step 4
Eyewear

Students browse our vast collection of eyewear and our team helps each student find the pair they feel comfortable & confident in! Eyewear is pre-fit right then and there.

Step 5
Checkout

Eyewear will be processed the same day in the Onsite/Mobile Lab or shipped to the school within 2-4 weeks.​

CHOOSE A DATE AND TIME FRAME FOR YOUR OPTICAL ACADEMY ONSITE VISIT. HISTORICALLY, A FULL SCHOOL DAY HAS SHOWN MOST SUCCESS IN ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION. PICK A SETUP IN A LARGE LOCATION SUCH AS A GYMNASIUM, CAFETERIA, AUDITORIUM, ETC.

OPTICAL ACADEMY WILL NEED A DETAILED STUDENT NAME LIST WITH STUDENT ID#'S, DATE OF BIRTH, GRADE LEVEL, ETC. TO PREPARE FORMS FOR ONSITE VISIT. ONSITE COORDINATOR WILL HELP YOU CHOOSE THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO BRING DOWN STUDENTS (BY GRADE, CLASS PERIOD, ETC) WE WILL SEND YOU PASSIVE CONSENT FORMS THAT CAN BE DISTRIBUTED SO THAT ALL STUDENTS ARE OPTED IN TO RECEIVE SERVICES UNLESS THEY RETURN THE OPT OUT FORM.

OPTICAL ACADEMY VISION TEAM WILL ARRIVE 1 HOUR BEFORE EVENT START TO SETUP INSIDE SCHOOL. MOBILE LAB WILL BE PARKED OUTSIDE. STUDENTS WILL BE SCREENED, EXAMINED, & CHOOSE EYEWEAR FORMS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED FOR PASSING AND FAILING STUDENTS TO EDUCATE BOTH PARENTS AND STAFF ON STUDENTS VISUAL ABILITIES.

OPTICAL ACADEMY WILL SEND STUDENT REPORTS TO DESIGNATED ADMINISTRATION WITH PASS/FAIL/ & EYEWEAR REPORTS EYEGLASSES NOT DISPENSED ONSITE WILL BE MAILED TO SCHOOL WITHIN 2 WEEKS.
